how can i inspect the status of my emails?

i just got an alert from xfinity telling my my email (boxes, folders, whatever) is full...how can i find out:

1. the total allowed size of all my emails

2. the total actual size of all my emails

anyway, i sorted all emails by size and deleted all >= 1MB, so how can i look at #2 to see what i accomplished?

In webmail, under the gear icon you should be able to see what space you have left, if any. If it's still showing 10GB you would need to delete more emails.

Also be aware that the contents of all your folders count against your quota. Even the contents of Trash count against it. So if you deleted a bunch of messages but didn't Empty Trash, you still won't be under quota.

user_ldec1 Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to contact our Xfinity Support Team about your email issues and we are happy to work with you over our Forums. Here is some great information on our Email storage limits https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/xconn-email-storage-limit that you could benefit from. It provides you with images on how to see your usage and the size of each email. We hope this helps!

i emptied TRASH and deleted all messages > 1MB but i'm STILL at 98%...

it would help to have a more comprehensive report, say on how many messages are stored and maybe their sizes in increments of orders of magnitude: >10MB, > 1MB, >100kb, >10kb, etc...

Thank you for trying and sharing so that other readers may benefit from the exchange, user_ldec1. Have you checked if some emails have attachments which may include large files?
