how do i remove an email account without deleting it?

i access my comcast email through xfinity.com. I have two email accounts that pull mail in. I want to keep both email accounts BUT i only want to be able to read one of them at a time. How can I remove one of the email addresses AND not delete that account?

Have you thought about using an email app?

@Again - honestly for whatever reason, I had not. But I just put outlook on my phone and used pop3 and that solved it. I am VERY appreciative of your suggestion and solution!!! Thank you so much!

@user_htozqf thank you for using the Xfinity Community Forums page to reach out regarding your email account. I want to make sure I am understanding your concern properly. Are you stating you want both emails received at both addresses to appear inside of one?

@XfinityMarcus - Hi, thanks. No. I only want access to the primary email address when I login. When I originally set it up, I did so with both the primary and the secondary email addresses. I was hoping there would be a simple "remove" the secondary email address from the primary account. However, when I navigate to Settings, Accounts, other than edit (which is for pop/imap etc.) the only other option is delete and I definitely do not want to delete that account.

@user_htozqf Thank you for clarifying that for me, and it's great to hear that you were able to resolve this after using the suggestion provided by @Again
