How do I transfer my comcast email account to yahoo

We moved to an apartment, so I canceled our Comcast account last December.  How do I move to yahoo email?

Hello tashanet, thank you for reaching out here in our Xfinity Community forum. We appreciate you and your time. To switch to Yahoo, you would need to log in to your account and process the move from there.

You should know that migration to Yahoo is completely optional now meaning you don't have to move to Yahoo! Mail if you don't want to.  I suggest that you wait.

user_a35293 Hi there! We are sending invites to your Comcast email letting you know you are able to upgrade to Yahoo! Mail. Start with checking your email to see if you have the invite. Also, here is a link that describes the entire process in detail.

I don't want to transfer any info to a old gmail account.  I only want Comcast email/Yahoo on my computer and not synced  to my phones.  How do I do this?  I've been asked to enter a text sent to this old email.

You don't have to; your email will eventually be migrated to Yahoo! Mail.  At some point you'll receive an invitation to do so, so watch webmail for the invitation.
