how to access comcast emails with my laptop windows 11 microsoft 365 Outlook Classic after endless popups prompts for password

I have been using my new laptop for about a year, no problems during that year with my Outlook accessing my Comcast email account.  Then at the one year anniversary, and my non-renewal of the included installed McAfee security software, my Outlook can no longer retrieve the Comcast emails.   The popup prompt for the email password is endless.   I don't know if this is occurring due to the nonrenewal or just coincidental.  But either way I need a solution to the issue.

When I go to the my computer's Control Panel settings for email in the Microsoft Outlook section, and do a "repair" of the account for xx@comcast.net, after trying to repair/fix, it returns with this message:  "An encrypted connection to your mail server is not available".

Please advise how to resolve.  Thank you.

@user_1jsn96  Thanks for reaching out! You may want to go through this article to ensure all settings in Outlook match up. How To Set Up Your Xfinity Email Address With an Email Program

You also might want to ensure your access to third-party email programs is enabled in the Comcast Connect Email Portal. Turn your access to third-party email programs on or off in Xfinity Email

The concern is not "accessibility / disability" help related............ Topic moved here to the proper help section for assistance.

I rechecked my settings in Outlook to retrieve and send my Comcast emails and they are correct.   I went to the webpage for Comcast emails, signed in, and went to Security settings.   The Third party access to the emails was already checked.   But I unchecked it, and then rechecked it.   I opened my Outlook and suddenly all the emails came in.   I had a problem with the sending, and after doing "repair" in Outlook on the account it is now working as well.    Fingers crossed everything continues to work.   I guess the solution is sort of like, pulling the plug or shutting down your computer and then restarting.   It seems it was simply the toggling of that one security setting.
