How to change password for IMAP

Concern moved here to the E-mail help section for assistance. 

@user_1q3b4t Thanks for adding a post. IMAP is an email setting, and the password allows one to log in to their account securely. They're not linked. Check what IMAP is compared to POP here https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/switch-email-pop-to-imap. Update the password for your email account on this page  https://xfinityconnect.email.comcast.net/.

Wouldn't https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/changing-or-resetting-your-password be more appropriate? I can find nothing on the "xfinityconnect.email" page about changing passwords.
