How to create an app password for Outlook

Outlook is requesting an app password to pull email from my secondary Comcast email. How do I create this?

BouRocky Thanks for posting on our Community Forums. Have you tried the sign in username/password for that account?

The Xfinity message indicates this App Password is NOT a username or Password..It's different.

Because I don't have the correct App Password, I cannot log in.

All this is useless! The "new outlook" insists I change apps. Can't sign on ... "invalid credentials" (not true, password is correct). "you may need an app password." where do I get this and how do i use it. None of the posted info is helpful. Meanwhile my laptop has no email at all.
