I can not Rescue my legitimate Account

Hello:

My existing account has NO Inbox, sent, Junk

under my account, .... @comcast.net, so I attemped to rescue my account

'Add Mail Account,

 which I did everything in legitimate way, i.e. Password, imap.comcast.net and smtp.comcast.net

However, 'imap' is not legitimate or something similar phrase popping-up at the top of screen. 

How to rescue my legitimate account, .... @comcast.net

Thanks for any help on this issue in advance.

We are the right virtual door to knock on for help. Just to confirm, are you accessing the email on our web portal or on a 3rd party email client?
