I can't send emails today from my Comcast address to yale.edu

Starting this afternoon, I can't send emails from my Comcast address to any yale.edu addresses, though I can receive them. This is a huge problem, since I am a Yale professor. I get a bounceback with "Message could not be sent to the following recipients:[Name]  Domain unrouteable, possible DNS misconfiguration."

Could this have anything to do with today's Microsoft problem? Or is it something else?

Hello English53 , Sorry to hear about the routing issues with the email. We will certainly help you figure out what settings or troubleshooting need to be fixed to resolve this issue. Do you access the email through xfinity.com/email or are you using a 3rd party email client to access the email?

Thanks so much for responding. The problem resolved, on pretty much the same timeline as the Microsoft outage, so my assumption is that it was related.
