I changed my Xfinity/comcast password because my email contact list was hacked. I am not receiving any email from my contact list.

I am only receiving emails from the emails in my JUNK folder.  I worked with Mo at Xfinity this morning and he sent 3 emails to my comcast.net email and I only received two of them.  He tried several things (don’t know what) and I still didn’t receive his latest email.  He gave up and told me he’d send it to Tier two.  I needed to reply to a text he sent, but it was just a survey.medalllia.   I haven’t heard back from anyone!

What do I need to do?  I am using Apple mail on my Mac with the xfinity comcast email.

When you changed the password in Comcast, did you also change it in Mac Mail?  If not, that would account for why you are not getting the emails.  As a troubleshooting measure, try using the account with only the webmail UI and your browser.  If that works OK the issue is with Mac Mail.

In case you didn’t fully understand the previous posting, it is the App “mail” under settings all the way at the bottom.  I just went through this myself.
