I need help with my Comcast email account.
I cancelled my Xfinity Internet service about a two months ago, but I have been logging into webmail regularly, so the email account should not be inactive. I began having problems last week, emails from specific addresses either went to junk or were not received at all. I resolved it by adjusting filters to allow these addresses.
As of this yesterday, I can no longer receive new inbound messages. Note I did receive replies to 3 emails I initiated yesterday afternoon, so the mailbox was partially working. Later, I tried to send myself emails from Comcast to two different email accounts that I have and they were never sent. Now, when I try to sign in at connect.xfinity.com, I can sometimes log in and sometimes I see the error: “A required service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later. (SRV-0001).”
It looks like my mailbox may have been de-provisioned incorrectly. Phone/chat support told me they can’t help since I no longer have active paid services, but Comcast policy should allow me to keep email-only access. I verified this at the time of cancellation. I have had this email for over 20 years and this is presenting a huge problem for me.
Could this please be escalated to the email team to check whether my mailbox can be restored as an email-only account?
I will provide my full Comcast email address and any account details via Direct Message once requested by an official Xfinity Support rep.
Thank you for your help.

Just wanted to add an update:
I did receive an automated badge email from the Xfinity forum system in my @comcast.net inbox. However, I’m still not receiving any outside emails (Gmail, iCloud, Outlook, etc.).
This seems to confirm my mailbox is still alive and able to get internal Comcast system messages, but external inbound delivery is failing completely. Outbound still works.
Could this please be escalated for a mailbox rebuild/reset so that external mail can flow into my account again?
Thank you.
