IMAP Email Temporary Blacklist on Home IP
Well, just like all the other posting here, my home IP is apparently temporarily blacklisted AGAIN
I've had zero issues with my desktop outlook accessing comcast email via IMAP for well over 10 years.
In the last few weeks were getting the intermittant 'Login error NO temporarily blacklisted IP - try again later'
The issue lasts for days, then magically goes away for a few days, then reappears.
I am on no blacklist according to the comcast postmaster ticket submission which I have checked multiple times. My ip address has not changed, yet comcast ALL OF A SUDDEN deems it to be blacklisted? What in the world?
WHY WHY WHY does this keep happening?
I've chatted with over 6 tech support agents who always reassure me the issue has been fixed, some tell me 'comcast does not allow emailing from a home network, thats why I get the issue'. Can you imaging giving this answer to a customer? Sheesh.
Does ANYONE have any insight how to resolve this? Comast doesnt know how to fix this, I've put in countless support tickets that go no where.
What is going on with this?
Any help GREATLY appreciated.
