IMAP folder subscription issue - needs tier-2 escalation.

A subfolder in my Comcast.net email is not appearing in ANY IMAP client (tested Outlook Classic and New Outlook on PC), but it IS visible in Xfinity webmail. Already confirmed:

- Folder exists on server (visible in webmail)

- Not a subscription issue on my end (checked IMAP Folders list in Outlook - not there to re-check)

- Server settings correct: imap.comcast.net, port 993, SSL/TLS (was told to change to port 995, which is wrong - that's POP3, not IMAP)

- Not a password/auth issue - other folders sync fine

Suspect a server-side IMAP subscription flag or LIST command issue for this specific folder. Need someone who can check IMAP folder subscription status server-side, not basic troubleshooting.

Account: [Edited: "Personal Information"]

Affected sub folder names (3): Amegy, Board Actions and Shoppe

Sub Folder location: My Folders\ENSOURCE\sale of Co\025a Liquidation Effort 2025\2026 001AAAAAA Post Close\

Good morning @user_4b13bc, and thanks for posting your issue to the Xfinity forums, I hope this message finds you well. I am sorry to hear about the issues you are having with the email, but you have come to the right place for assistance with this issue. Have you tried deleting your Xfinity email account from one of the devices and adding it back on to see if the folder shows up?

fixed it By:  1) creating similar sub folders on web mail, 2) moving all emails from "old" to "new similar" webmail; 3) delete "old" non syncing sub folder; 4) add "new" similar sub folders to Outlook Comcast.net email

And Voila!! All good

Case closed - Apparently a sequencing issue of some kind.  Lesson Learned : Create sub folders in web mail forst!!
