IMAP login fails in Outlook; Xfinity webmail works
my Comcast email works in Xfinity webmail, but classic Outlook says it cannot log on to the incoming IMAP server. The settings are imap.comcast.net, port 993, SSL/TLS, with SPA off. Third party access is enabled. I get the same error with a new Outlook profile on both home Wi-Fi and in iPhone hotspot. Please check IMAP authentication for my mailbox and escalate this to the email team. Outlook on my iPhone continues to receive new email for this same Comcast address. The problem began on September 19. 2026.

I set up my emails on my iPhone in Settings / Accounts. I’m having same issues but I don’t use my Outlook 365 Email Account.
