IMAP password is incorrect

When I try to access my comcast mail, it is saying that my "IMAP password is incorrect"

I tried resetting the password it didn't work

I am seeing the same.  I changed my password and it worked briefing then failed.  I have checked and double checked and failure.  Please note that I am running macOS Tahoe. And everything was working when I had to change my email password

1) I have allowed 3rd party access in my Xfinity security settings

2) changed password on the web

3) verified that I can log into web mail

4) fails with Mac with Apple Mail and Outlook version 16.101

5) Fails on iPhone 16 Pro using apple mail too

Hi there @user_niqcdj, I can certainly understand how frustrating it is to be locked out of your email, especially after already going through the password reset process without success.

To get started, please confirm if you are able to access your email from the Xfinity website: https://connect.xfinity.com/appsuite.
