incoming emails showing up in trash folder

My wife and I have xfinity email accounts. in both of our accounts, all new incoming emails are showing up in trash folder.  I checked my email settings and made sure there were no email filters set. We also changed our passwords which didn't resolve the problem. Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

The concern is not "Home Security Rules And Automations" help related........... Topic moved here to the proper help section for assistance.

As of yesterday Comcast started sending my emails to trash.  I understand others have experienced this, I have done nothing to cause this.  Is there a problem with Comcast, and will they automatically fix this error?

Hello @user_eixpk1, that can become quite the issue if you are not keeping your eye on that trash folder. Have you attempted to disable and re-enable the spam filtering setting, a reset may do the trick. The Set email filters or spam filters — Xfinity Email help article will guide you to that section of the account if you may have forgotten since your last visit a few days ago. Please circle back to let us know if this helped or if the issue still remains after the soft reset.
