Increase storage Space

Greetings!

Please provide by the end of next month Xfinity’s plan for increasing email account storage space to at least 20 GB per account. I look forward to said response.

Hello @user_947da0. Thank you for reaching out on our Community Forum. At this time, we only offer 10 GB of storage for Comcast.net emails. I will provide a link for you with some suggestions if you are running out of storage space.Email storage limit. Was there anything else I can assist you with?

I am assuming all of your customers are very frustrated with the limited storage space as far as I know all the other Email providers don’t have a limit!  I have been a Comcast customer for decades and I’m just reaching this storage limit and very frustrated since I want to save all my old emails!!  Why can’t Xfinity just increase the storage space don’t think that would cost the company very much and it would make the company look very, very good to its customers

The storage space isn't the problem on Outlook, but with Comcast email.  You're given 10GB of storage space and if you're running up against that wall you'll need to go in to webmail and delete as much as you can.  As far as I know, or at least the last time I was using Outlook, it had a storage space of 1 GB, which may be more now [something Microsoft never gave out].

All the other Email services don’t have a space limit as far as I know. Comcast 10 GB limit is very frustrating!

Yes I as well since I’ve used Comcast Email for so many years it would be very frustrating to have to start using a new email provider and give all of the people and companies. I’ve talk to my new email address. Comcast are just increase the storage space!

I suppose after they get half the users moved to Yahoo, then they could easily double the space for the remaining half.  However, since the remaining half will be on Yahoo a few months later, they may feel it's not worth the bother.  (And it increases the data that needs to be transferred to Yahoo.)
