Internet, email security, telephone and TV service

I have been receiving too many inappropriate and spammy advertisements through my email. In addition, I have been getting fake requests for my Comcast password, claiming that Xfinity needed the information to upgrade my account. It seems like my emails are being intercepted, and as a result, the intended recipients are not receiving my emails, especially those with attachments. This is not good. I thought the issues related to Xfinity's security breach were addressed. This situation is extremely problematic as I have missed critical information. It's not just the email services that are causing problems. When the system is not working, I cannot receive telephone calls, and the telephone system's messaging system does not record all of the messages that are left. Finally, there have been too many occasions when I did not have access to the TV cable service.

Hey there user_e2c77e, I appreciate you being so thorough in your post to let me know exactly what's going on. Service issues are never fun to deal with, let alone having multiple concerns, but I have your back on all of these. I'd like to start with a few clarifying questions to make sure I'm on the same page as you and fully understand the scope of your concerns. Aside from the spam emails, are you unable to send/receive emails or both? Our security and network teams are always quick to act on any known security issues, and do a great job of working to prevent any future security concerns, so this could be something a little more isolated, although, I can certainly see how impactful it would be for you. You also mentioned having systems down, are you referring to known service interruptions? If so, is that when you notice issues with your phone and TV service?

Thank you for your response. I have tried to contact Xfinity to inform the company that it seems my email account has been hacked. I have noticed an increasing number of unsolicited and spam emails, and it appears that my outgoing emails are not reaching their intended recipients. It seems that my emails are being intercepted. In addition, I've been experiencing frequent interruptions in my TV and telephone services without any prior notice from Xfinity about planned service interruptions.

Thank you for the reply @user_e2c77e. If you suspect that your email service has been compromised in any way, you will need to contact the customer security team at the https://internetsecurity.xfinity.com/help/report-abuse/ site to have them investigate that for you. I can look into any interruptions on your TV services from here. Could you send me a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service?

To send a direct message [private message]:

Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

   Press Enter to send it
