is there a way to speak to a tech support agent (a real person) at Comcast?

Is there a way to speak or chat with a live technical support agent at Comcast?  I can't reset my comcast.net email password.

I tried using the AI agent and the reset password process on the website, but they all send me into website pages and processes that end with a 404 error - page does not exist or a continuous loop.  I tried using the voice menu to speak to an agent, but that keeps sending me into a loop.  I also tried telling the AI agent that I want to speak to a live agent, and it also just puts me into a loop.  Given how much I spend on comcast every month, it's pretty frustrating that I can't get to someone live to solve my support problem easily and that I have to resort to posting a message in a forum.

If you forget your Xfinity password, you can reset it by visiting xfinity.com/password

This answer doesn't work.
As I posted in my original post, when I go to this page xfinity.com/password

After I fill in my email address, the website responds with a message to call xfinity.

When I call xfinity, it doesn't have a way to speak to a live person.  The voice system pushes you into the AI assistant.

The AI assistant wants to text me a link to reset my email.  When I click thru that process, it takes me to a 404 website page does not exist error.

Our team can help, user_dlee388. Thank you for joining the Xfinity Forums community. You can always contact us to find the right help and support you need! If you forget your Xfinity password, you can reset it by visiting xfinity.com/password. You can enter your email, mobile, or username to begin. Additionally, you're able to click the purple Forgot? icon which allows you to find your Xfinity ID via mobile phone number or email, for account recovery. It's also important to keep your Xfinity account contact information in case you need to recover it. To update using the Xfinity app: Open the Xfinity app and select the Account icon in the bottom right corner.

  1. Select Account settings.
  2. Select Xfinity ID and security.
  3. . Select the information you’d like to edit.
  4. Choose Continue once you're done editing.

This reply by a xfinity employee is wrong. Perhaps you might want to consider testing the user experience and seeing how frustrating and broken it is.

The Contact Us link provided above takes me to this website page: https://www.xfinity.com/support/contact-us

On this page, there are options to Chat with the Xfinity AI Assistant and Trouble Shoot with the Xfinity AI assistant.  As my original post indicated, the AI assistant does not solve my problem.  It tells me to go to  xfinity.com/password and I already documented what that website page does.  The reset process tells me to call 800-Xfinity.  And when you call 800-Xfinity, there is no option to speak to a live technical support person.  The voice menu system pushes a link to the AI Assistant and that's a dead-end.
