Like others, port 25 unblock needed.

Hi, I'm a web developer and can't send any emails from localhost (development box) with one of my clients that operates their email server on port 25.  How can I get this unblocked on my end, quickly?

user_c0qv44 Here is a link https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/email-port-25-no-longer-supported that will go over the details as to why Comcast doesn't support port 25. Let us know if you need any further assistance.

"Although most email clients and servers can be configured to use port 587 instead of 25, there are cases where this is not possible or convenient. A site may choose to use port 25 for message submission by designating some hosts to be MSAs and others to be MTAs."

I cannot force my client to use another port as they've chosen to use port 25.  Why cannot I not choose to allow traffic through that port as well?  I cannot finish their project without being able to utilize their mail service.

Unfortunately, for security reasons, that is not something we can change on our end. My apologies, user_c0qv44
