I use the Mail app to access my Comcast emails when using my iPhone. Apparently the password for the IMAP Incoming Server was corrupted (probably by me accidentally). I can’t read what’s there so I can’t be sure that’s the problem. I don’t want to change the password if that’s not the problem. Help please. Thanks.
Thank you so much for clarifying that for us, @user_f07304! Hmm, have you confirmed that the 3rd party access is checked? You can go here for steps on how to confirm that is checked. I would recommend resetting your password if it is requiring it via the Xfinity only email portal. Once that is updated, update the password in your Mail App on your device. If you are still having troubles, another helpful trick is to delete the email completely from the Mail App and add it back in.
