I have been unable to receive any mail on my iPhone for the past week. First it was repeatedly asking me for my password and now I am getting the message
Cannot Get Mail
The mail server "imap.comcast.net" is not responding. Verify that you have entered the correct account info in
Mail settings.
Server code "ALERT", server message
"Temporarily blacklisted IP Address - try again later".
Account setting on phone as follows:
Host name: imap.comcast.net
user name: (my email address)
password: (my password)
smpt: smpt.comcast.net
advanced settings: use SSL
server port 993
so, what am I missing? Please help! And thank you
PS if I select anything under tags, my whole post disappears and I get an error message

Greetings, @kmfox! I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum about this email issue. You have definitely come to the right place for assistance.
Are you having similar issues on any other devices, or is this just happening on your iPhone? Your settings look fine. If you recently changed your password online, the background autofill settings may be trying to override your new password with the old one. My phone was doing this to me last year. You can usually correct this by clearing your Safari browser history and website data in your phone settings. It may also be a good idea to check your account email settings online to see if the "Allow third party access" box is still selected. You can find more details about how to do this here: Turn your access to third-party email programs on or off in Xfinity Email - Xfinity Support
