Marking SPAM emails as NOT spam does not work

I have several emails that go into my spam folder and they are NOT spam. This has been happening for months including emails from my financial institution. I mark them as NOT spam, they disappear for a few minutes then come right back into the spam folder. I've even tried sendig them to inbox and nothing!!! I'm beyond aggraveted.

... I mark them as NOT spam, they disappear for a few minutes then come right back into the spam folder. ...

Comcast's spam filters and the filters in webmail only operate on messages when they first arrive. If they are moved afterward it's most likely due to user action or to the spam settings of an email program or app on a user computer or mobile device.

The emails are not and were not moved to spam by me. Nor is it a setting issue as I even removed the options to block any senders at all.

I get spam all day long in my inbox but I can't get legit email in my inbox. Clearly it's an Xfinity glitch that I need to know how to fix.

@amy68 Got it, and thanks. The best solution for this is to add them to your contact list. Follow the steps here https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/delete-contact-universal-address-book. It also has info on what to do if they keep going to the spam folder, which seems to be happening here.

Have you had a chance to try adding the sender to the contact list @amy68, and if so did that fix the issue?

I have the same issue.  Marking legit emails as "not junk" does not work.  Adding sender to contact list (accurately) does not work.  I tried the AI customer service at length (horrible service, menu).  I finally spoke to an agent four or so days ago, who said they'd "escalate" and contact me with a solution in "a few hours".  Nothing.  How can this be something Comcast won't address and fix??
