much more spam coming

I've used Comcast/Xfinirty for many years ansd it generally blocked spam.  But recently,  number of obvious spam messages are getting through every single day.  Comcast/Xfinity needs to catch and destroy them.  I set manumum spam filters but these come from different email adresses each time.  FIX THIS !!!

Hi @user_n6xqx1, just to clarify. You are receiving a hefty amount of spam emails that are falling into your regular inbox instead of your spam folder, correct?

Thank you so much for confirming. Have you had an opportunity to Check Xfinity Email and Spam Filters to ensure these rules are set in place?

I too am getting an unbelievable amount of spam. I have lots of different email accounts, and the filters on xfinity seem to be terrible in comparison. Please do something! (They are going into the regular inbox)

Hello tgor14! Sorry to hear about the annoying spam you're receiving, but we're here to help. Can you tell me what kind of spam you're getting? Is it varying or does it come consistently about the same things?

Depending on the nature of the message, you can also report suspected spam directly to our backend security assurance teams using this link: https://spa.xfinity.com/help/network-abuse?faq=report-online-harassment

hi there- uh, types of spam? the usual stuff? creams for ailments, phishing... unpaid netflix bill, iphone order on hold, contact shipper with you credit card into, etc, etc, etc... is that the usual stuff? whatever it is, it's probably 40 messages a day? is it because my email address is so short?

as mentioned, i have many other email accounts... google, yahoo, fastmail, proton, zoho, microsoft... and none of them suffer from this. do you guys have a budget for spam filters? this stuff doesn't look particularly sophisticated... i mean, am i really the winner of a million dollars or whatever? you really can't catch this stuff?

the only reason at all that i'm still using comcast email is because so many important agencies have my email and it'd be painful to change them all at this point... but as the pain continues, i might have to jump ship, which maybe is the idea in the end... reduce customer complaints and IT help by having people abandoning their accounts. i know the people at the top of comcast make a very good living.

Thanks for the feedback. We do have our CSA Team (the link provided above) who handles all the SPAM and now Yahoo will be taking control of all the emails for Comcast. https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/yahoo-email-migration-overview
