my email goes into draft will still composing

My emails go into draft while still composing email .  I can't find where a filter may be that is causing the issue.  I am typing email and all of a sudden the email goes into draft.  I have tried using chrome and edge and it happens in both.  Any suggestions?

My emails go into draft while still composing email ...

I believe this is by design, to allow you to recover the message you are entering in case the connection drops or the browser crashes or something else interrupts message composition. AFAIK there is no way in webmail to turn off this backup and no way to configure it.

It is very annoying - this problem of the compose emails suddenly going to DRAFT just started for me.  My solution, for anything with any length, is going to be to compose it in WORD, copy it, and paste it in the compose.  I can't keep wasting time opening the last DRAFT to complete a process, then deleting all the extraneous drafts.  I have deleted about 5 in one time on short composes.
