"Click here to update your mailbox" is a link to scammer site that will steal your Comcast/Xfinity login info and goodness knows what else. NOT LEGIT! DO NOT CLICK! Also note that legit emails from them never come from a "comcast.net" address. Those addresses are only assigned to customers.

Hi @user_38jhsn, as @BruceW mentioned I would remain very cautious when it pertains to emails like this. If you would like to share the email verbatim without sharing any personal information we could provide you with a little more insight.👍

Can't say for sure without knowing more, but "Update" emails that have any sort of "click here or lose your access" link are almost always scams. Do not click!

roomful That email seems a little to vague to be from us. I would think that is more of a scam email, and wouldn't click the link. What is the email it came from?

roomful I'd like to take a look from my side of things to see if I can find that message in our outgoing communications.
Please send a direct message by clicking the chat icon in the upper right corner of the page, click on the pen and paper icon, then enter “Xfinity Support” in the “To” section. Include your name and address so I can find the account and get started on a resolution.
