No Answer from Comcast on fixing thier problem with Outlook

For months, Comcast has been telling me to change my password and update my settings so I can send email from Microsoft Outlook Pro 2021. That did not work. They seem content that their system no longer supports the use of Outlook and Thunderbird. I am amazed that Comcast has so little regard for its clients that it allows this issue to fester continuously.

Hello, @user_q8wp9x thank you for creating a post. We completely understand wanting to access your email communications through the client of your choice, and wanted to see if you had attempted the steps some other great Xfinity Forums members had posted a fix that worked for them:

I also checked the Microsoft community board and had found this, are you by chance connected to a VPN when trying to use your email: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook_com/forum/all/fixing-the-outlook365-connect-problem-with/0d2506e0-386a-4b12-9cf8-f91e69705300

Thank you for your reply.  I have used Microsoft Outlook 2021 Pro and this issue just started for me in January 2025.  I did not ever change any settings or passwords.  Your fellow Comcast employees just gave me the same info as you did.  I finally got it escalated, and I was told that Comcast has been working on this issue for Outlook.  Notably, you will see that this issue goes back over a year for some Comcast customers.  It is appalling that Comcast is willing to let its clients linger rather than use its considerable funds and talent to fix a problem it created.  BTW -- if you call the escalation dept, they answer with a recording stating they are aware of the issue.  My question is --- WHEN WILL COMCAST FIX THIS???
