Not getting an icon notification when I have new/unread emails, anymore.

When I use to navigate to my.xfinity.com and use the drop-down menu on the right to go to my email, if there was new emails, you'd see an red dot or icon notify you of new emails. Now, this is all you see:

I had one new/unread email upon taking these screencaps, but you wouldn't know it before clicking on the mail icon. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a setting to fix this?

This issue seemingly resolved itself. I will not be marking any reply as "Accepted Answer" because this was not actually solved by the Community. In fact, the troubleshooting done here and in my messages was not particularly helpful, at all.

@User525 Thanks for bringing your email concerns to our attention.

I'm sorry to hear your new message icon is not working alerting you when there's a new message. Do you have notifications on your email settings turned off?

Is this happening on multiple devices and browsers as well?

Where in my settings would this be? I don't recall having changed any settings. I'm accessing this on my desktop. In fact, I did not get a notification that you'd replied to this thread even on here.

@User525 I would like to troubleshoot with you to resolve this.

Being that you're not getting notifications for emails and the forums I feel we should start with your pop-up settings and check your browsers settings to ensure notifications aren't turned off.

What browsers are you using?

I'm using Firefox. To be clear, I don't want to be alerted to new emails in-browser while I'm on other sites. I simply want to go back my.xfinity.com showing unread emails when I navigate to this site in the drop down menu.

@User525 Issues like this usually appear because your browser is using out-of-date cached data. This can usually be solved by clearing your browser's cache and cookies. You can find instructions here
