On @comcast.net Junk - Block Sender is not working

I keep getting the same emails from companies trying to sell me something. I mark them as Junk - Block Senders in my Outlook desktop in Windows 10. I even tried to create a filter in Xfinity email to Discard. But those emails keep coming!

Thank you for reaching out to us here @sgtjdc. You can set up a spam filter for those emails.

  1.
  2. Open Xfinity Email.
  3. Click the Gear icon Image of gear icon on the top-right of the navigation bar, then click Email Settings.
  4. From the menu on the left, click on Advanced Settings.
  5. Click the Automatically move spam and potentially harmful messages to the Spam folder option. Enabling Spam filtering will move emails designated as spam to the Spam folder and delete them automatically after seven days.

Thank you, but I had that checked. But I guess that most of the emails that I want to discard are not consider spam by Xfinity. So they end up in my inbox. Several times in Outlook Desktop I have checked Junk - Block Sender. But they return. I also wrote specific Rules (like Sender/From contains @xxxx, Discard).

sgtjdc Since they are still getting through the spam filter, you can send those emails as an attachment to missed-spam@comcast.net. That way our Customer Security Assurance Team is aware of the issue.

You can find out more about this reporting option under 'Report Spam and Phishing Emails' here: https://internetsecurity.xfinity.com/help/report-abuse
