Open port 25 inbound on my account?

I have an external e-mail account that can replicate its e-mail by forwarding to another account on port 25.  I have historically run a machine in my house that keeps a replica of my e-mail as a backup.  I'm wondering if port 25 could be opened up for me inbound?

I know that port 25 outbound can be used for spam.  No need to open that for me; in fact I'd vaguely prefer it if it were blocked so that I definitely can't be a source of spam if one of my computers is hacked.  (I can block it at my own firewall, though, so no need for xfinity's block.)

@aseering it's very doubtful you'll get port 25 incoming unblocked.  You can try calling Customer Security Assurance but don't be surprised if they say no.

So, I’ve tried calling CSA three times already.  The first time, they seemed to think that it would be possible to un-block the port.  But they had to bring in someone more senior, and in the process of doing so, I got disconnected.  The second and third times, I reached people who were unfamiliar with port 25; they just had instructions to open any ordinary port using the Xfinity app and didn’t know that port 25 was a special case (and definitely not what could or couldn’t be done about it).

Hello @aseering, Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your day to leave a post on our community forum. At this time Comcast no longer allows our residential customers to access port 25, I do apologize. If you want to allow traffic to port 25 you would need to be a business customer to do so. Thank you for the update.  However, those pages have been around for a while, and others on this forum have been successful recently at getting port 25 opened for this purpose.  For example:
