Yes, I can send emails directly from the server but not through my outlook account. I am receiving emails through my outlook account. My outlook is not 365. Thanks!

Hi XfinityJoe, I was able to get my outbound emails working again with the help from a very knowledgeable tech on the phone. Yesterday the problem surfaced again and emails are not sending.  I also received an email from xfinity asking me to click on to migrate my emails over to yahoo. I get so many spam and fraud emails from xfinity impersonators, I am afraid to click on anything that comes through emails from xfinity. Do you know if the email is legit? Could that be one of the reasons I am having this problem again? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Good morning @sanmo. I am sorry to hear that you are having the issue with sending emails again. Xfinity is in the process of transitioning to Yahoo Mail, and part of that process is a series of proactive communications outlining the move and necessary actions they must take if they choose to upgrade. These communications will consist of multiple email notifications notifying customers about the opportunity to upgrade. These notifications will include invitations to users to upgrade to Yahoo Mail by accepting Yahoo’s terms of service and privacy policy. Additional reminders may be delivered through in-app messages, and notifications on xfinity.com.
