Outlook and Phone apps not working now that i switched to Yahoo

Anyone have any ideas on how to get outlook to work with the new yahoo server... I was on the phone with yahoo for almost two hours, and they ended by saying... uhhh we have no idea... sorry.

This switch sucks...

You can find information on Yahoo's mail servers here:

Hello, @user_4qumza to confirm this is just a mobile/third party issue are you able to access your comcast emails through Yahoo.com online?

The answer would be yes... and no.  After a third call with yahoo.. my outlook is once again working, and mirrors the yahoo site exactly.  The problem is half the folders i have set up and the saved emails within them are missing.  I have an entire section of like 50 folders that says simply "waiting" on the folder tree.  They say they can see the folders/emails on their side, but i can't.. Neither on outlook, or on the yahoo site.  and they have no idea why they haven't migrated over.

@user_4qumza Thanks for sharing this information with us. Did they by any chance say if they opened a ticket on their end? Are they going to investigate this further for you?

Yes.. they opened a ticket with someone higher up the chain..  after four days i finally got an email from them that basically said... whats the problem?  I sent them pics and description of the issue as seen on both my outlook and their yahoo web site...   and haven't heard back from them in the last couple days.

@user_4qumza I highly recommend you reach back out to them. Now that the email has migrated to their server, they will be able to further assist you with retrieving these folders.
