Outlook Email Send Problem

I reset my Comcast Email Password and when I updated the password credentials in my computer desktop application of Outlook I cannot send emails out. I receive emails but cannot respond. I tried to update / check the outgoing email settings and get an error message as well.

Thank you for meeting us in DM! I am glad we were able to get this fixed for you! For others who may stumble across this post, the steps to fix the issue are listed below. 

1. Remove Comcast email account from Outlook

2. Re-add account with setting found HERE

user_zqf25x, Thank you for reaching out to Xfinity Support. We are sorry to hear you are having issues with your email. This is something we would need to run through some troubleshooting steps with you. Please send us a DM with your name and full address by doing the following: 

• Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send your message
