Outlook repeatedly prompts for password

This issue started about 4 weeks ago.

* I get prompted for password on my 2 comcast accounts.  Does not occur on my gmail account.  One I click OK, emails flow as normal

* I'm running Win11, Outlook 2024 desktop (not 365).  Problem also occurred on Outlook 2016 desktop.

* Problem seems to be related to auto-sync, which is currently set to every 5 minutes.  Problem does not seem to occur when manually resyncing

* Removed and readded comcast accounts

* Deleted OST files

* Deleted outlook credential in windows credential manager.

* Cleared Outlook cache

* Checking or unchecking the remember password save button has no affect.

* 3rd party apps is enabled on comcast accounts.

@dan0952 When was the last time you reset your Xfinity ID password and had that updated?

Hey Brad.  Not recently.  Maybe years.  Btw, occasionally have the same issue in outlook on ios.

Let's have you reset your Xfinity ID password. Once that is reset then I'd ask you to update that login information in the 3rd party apps and see if that does the trick for it to stop logging you out.

Thanks for giving the reset a try. Just to confirm, are you able to log in to your email on the XFINITY website?
