Pop 3 Email access issue

I am having trouble accessing my Comcast email address through Email apps. Stopped working yesterday I cannot access my three Comcast address through Outlook Express on my computer and using the Xfinity email page I can only access the main address the other two that attached to it from old comcast account show nothing and no error message. The Samsung App on my cell phone works ok.

Thank you for posting your email questions here. We recommend using IMAP for your Comcast.net email as POP can cause problems when checking your mail from more than one phone or computer because POP removes the mail from our server and delivers it to your device. IMAP makes it easier to sync your email on multiple devices because your folders and mail remain on our server until you move or delete them with your device. Additionally, with IMAP, the email changes you make on one device, like your smartphone, are reflected on your other devices, like your laptop. @XfinityJessie​ It came and working but today it down I have using them POP3 for years with no issues Outlook Express does support Imap. The other issues is your email page Xfinity Connect on the desk that check your mail also does not work access my other Comcast email address like normal does you need to see that depart is issue with email POP3 the two days.

The email address all fine to the day before yesterday . It was out yesterday then early today ok on both Outlook Express and Xfinity Connect and later when I turned back on my to check my email same issue no error message on Xfinity Connect but no access to those address on Outlook Express says invalid password. I have this once and it always came in few minutes. Also my Samsung uses Imap they all work ok.

also note the Xfinity Connect is Imap and does not work so more then POP3 but not why the Sansung Email app works

In order to get started can you please send a direct message to Xfinity Support with your full name and full address by clicking the chat icon in the top right? Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:

• Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
