Receiving emails that are addressed to other email addresses

After being notified by company about data leak, my email is being BOMBARDED daily by potential phishing emails and scams that are addressed with OTHER EMAIL ADDRESSES.  WHY am I receiving these emails that are not addressed to me?  I have been blocking these on a daily basis!!!  Xfinity assistant DOES NOT HELP AND DOES NOT PROVIDE LIVE AGENT!!!  Does anyone HAVE THE ACTUAL CUSTOMER SUPPORT PHONE NUMBER for Xfinity or is this strategic for this company to torment us so that we will give up on trying to get assistance??
