SOLUTION: Unable to receive Microsoft verification code emails to xfinity/comcast email address

After days of troubleshooting, I finally figured out how to get Microsoft’s verification emails to deliver to an Xfinity/Comcast account. If you haven't already, move your Xfinity/Comcast email over to Yahoo, then add account-security-noreply(at)accountprotection.microsoft(dot)com directly to your Yahoo Contacts. From there, sign in to Microsoft and request the verification code to be sent to your Xfinity/Comcast address, then finally the most important part, check your Archive folder, as for some reason the email from Microsoft gets pushed to there instead of the Inbox.
