SORT

Finding lack of basic email view options.    After compiling email list from keyword search, no SORT option appears.

Is this programmed to be unavailable, or is there a way to sort from compiled list?

Used to be able to sort by flag color as well.   What is point of flagging different colors if unable to pull up by it?

Hi there, @eileenm1 ! Are you referring to our web based mail? If so, there are sort options available! You can check out information on this function here:  Ways to sort email in the Xfinity Email web portal

Question is whether sort function is available after populating list from keyword search.

@eileenm1  Wow, I only see the option to sort the main folder, not the results from a search. I did find ways to perform an advanced search, in case it helps I'll paste the details below.

ADVANCED SEARCHES WITH XFINITY EMAIL

Sometimes you might need to narrow down your searches a bit further. There are several ways you can perform advanced searches.

  • Quotations (" ")
    • Use quotations around an entire phrase (or group of words) to search for an exact match within your email.
      • For example, if you want to search for the phrase "dinner Friday night," entering it as "dinner Friday night" will return all messages with that exact text.
      • This is particularly useful when searching for a phrase that includes punctuation, as the search engine ignores them.
        • For example, to search for the time "9:30" simply enter "9:30" and you will find all messages with the exact text 9:30.
  • Smart lookup
    • Type what you're searching for in the search box beneath the toolbar and a drop-down list will appear with options to search for that word or phrase in a specific folder or section of your email.

Once a list is populated by keyword search, no sort option exists, correct?
