Thank you for reaching out @user_ozp8q1 I understand how frustrating it is to get those emails. The link: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/spam-filters-and-email-blocking-new-experience will help with setting up your settings with spam filters.

Sorry, tried all that a week ago.  I couldn't make my own spam filter work.  Checking "use email safe list" does stop all mail coming in.   It is not practical to create a safe email list of every address in one's address book (contacts).   It can be done with a lot of cut and paste when there is no command to "create list from contacts".  I have started creating a list.  I have looked at the spam email headers to see if I can spot anything.  "Empty spam folder" seems to not work.  We had my wife's Windows 11 PC "cleaned" under our Best Buy maintenance contract, but the span emails keep coming in.   Automatic emptying of spam over 7 days old seems to work but she still has 4,564 representing the number she has manually marked as spam in the last seven days.  (If you hover over 999+ it displays the actual number).  We turned off third party (Outlook or Gmail) access.  We changed passwords.  We checked logins and do see one iPhone login from an unrecognized ip address.

We have two email addresses on one Comcast account.  For over a week, starting the same day, both inboxes have been swamped with spam email which Comcast did not identify.  Several times per day we move them to the spam folder.  I have accumulated over 900 in the last 7 days, my wife is 999+.   Overnight Comcast identified 18 while my inbox had 90.  A week ago, one address had over 6,000 in the inbox which take a long time to move to spam.  Customer support robot has been no help.   Popular advice tells us to ditch Comcast email which we have been using for over 25 years.

I followed the instructions given to stop the spam emails, but they are still coming and I have to go into my email several times a day to move them to the spam file.  So the instructions for the spam file did not make any difference.  It is always the same spam emails. It seems from reading the other messages this is a sudden occurence in the last two weeks.  Please make it stop or tell us what we can do to stop it after we have followed the instructions that did not work.

Greetings, @user_ozp8q1! I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum about this sudden flood of spam emails. I can see how that would be frustrating. It sounds like these senders are getting past the spam filters. Under normal circumstances, the best course of action is to forward the message as an attachment to our Customer Security Assurance (CSA) Team at missed-spam@comcast.net. That should help refine the spam filters. Given the overwhelming number of similar messages, however, it might be a good idea to reach out to CSA directly to see if they can create a case for you. You can find more details about these options here: https://internetsecurity.xfinity.com/help/report-abuse#tab-spam
