Spam filter not working.

My xfinity spam filter doesn't work any more. No matter how many times I click on "mark as spam and report phishing", with the correct spam filter turned on, the same old emails get into my inbox. Extremely tiresome, not to mention annoying verging on infuriating.

Totally agree! A few weeks ago I had virtually no spam emails reaching my inbox. Now I have between 12-15 getting in on a regular basis. Nearly all of them are the kind that used to get weeded out to my spam folder.

What the hell is going on, xfinity?

user_888j2c Can you try clearing your cache/cookies, and let us know if this helps?

It didn’t work, is there a specific process for Xfinity?

@XfinityShawn engineering minds would love to have your suggestion explained. The thought that cache/cookies would have an effect on how the Comcast mail server is determining whether an email is spam or not is a somewhat bizarre idea.

user_888j2c Have you by chance tried reporting these reoccurring spam messages using this page?

Same observations. Since about November 2024, spam messages with very predictable topics, titles and formats keep showing up in my InBox, at an average rate of about 3-12 per day.
