Specific spam keeps going to my inbox

I am constantly receiving spam emails about “Elon Musk Portable Heater”. It’s several a day at this point. I keep reporting them as junk to Comcast, but they keep coming to my inbox. Why isn’t your spam filter learning that these are spam? Other spam usually gets sent to the Junk folder without my having to do anything, but not these Elon Musk ones. It’s getting extremely annoying. Do something, please.

Eric2203 Thanks for reaching out about the spam email concern. Do all the emails addresses they are coming from change in any way that may be the way they are getting around the filter by chance?

@XfinityEricB Well, yes, they often switch email addresses. But surely your spam filter does more than just rely on the sender’s email address, right? Please tell me that is the case and that it can detect spam based on known patterns…

@Eric2203

Thanks for confirming, this link https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/spam-filters-and-email-blocking-new-experience has great information on how you can set up spam filters and blockers . Also you want to make sure you go into any of those emails and make sure you're not subscribed,  a lot of times the spam emails will come because you may be subscribed to something that you were unaware that you're subscribed to. This is something I had to do is go into those certain emails and unsubscribe.

@XfinityOrlandoM No, I am not subscribed to them. If you took a look at them (which I know you can), you’d see that they are pure spam emails.

That link you sent isn’t helpful. I’m not going to switch to having a list of authorized senders only, with everything else going to spam. That’s not a viable solution. I’ll be missing tons of valid emails if I did that. Your spam filter needs to detect spam by content, not just who sent it. In this day and age, it’s expected that a spam filter can react to the content of the email. Why isn’t Comcast’s capable of doing that?

Hi there, @user_2rhtgq Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to us here! If you're marking emails as spam on Xfinity but still receiving them in your inbox, it could be due to a few reasons: the spam filter might not be perfectly accurate, the sender might be using a different email address each time. It's also possible that you're accessing your email through a 3rd party client with its own spam filtering rules that might not align with Xfinity's settings.-Richard
