Still Problems With Spam Reporting!

In a past thread I complained that Comcast censors my emails that go to registrars and hosts of domains that were sent to me in phishing emails.

This has GOT to stop.

Today, someone using Outlook.com sent me SIXTY of the same emails pretending to be Chase Bank and phishing for logins.

I reported just one with that message that I got 60 of them, to abuse@outlook.com and was censored.

This has GOT to stop! We do all the work to get these fake websites taken down and you stand in the way???

Another fake email I get constantly on all my domains is Swaine, Moore and Cravath LLC for phony copyright issues. I have created a filter for it, but somehow a new one always works its way around it.

Thanks for taking the time to share what’s been happening — we can see how incredibly frustrating that would be, especially when you're trying to do the right thing by reporting phishing and protecting your domains.

We want to be clear that we don’t intentionally block or censor abuse reports, and we absolutely don’t want to stand in the way of your efforts to report phishing or take down malicious sites. That said, certain outgoing messages may get flagged by our spam filters if they contain links or patterns similar to known phishing content — even if you're forwarding them for legitimate reasons. It’s not ideal, and we know it can feel like you're being penalized for trying to help.

If you’re able to, please let us know the exact error or bounce message you received when trying to email abuse@outlook.com. That’ll help us better understand what’s triggering the block.

We appreciate all the effort you're putting in to protect others — let’s see what we can do to make that process smoother for you.

@XfinityAirelle It's a standard 'non-delivery report' and it just tells you the address they would not send your email to.... usually an abuse address.

Way around it is, I go to the mail I sent, forward it, and just to that one address and it usually gets delivered.

But it is a PAIN!
