There was an email communication problem while trying to connect

One of my email addresses is not working to send or receive.  I have had this problem for two days.  I changed NO parameters, verified passwords against my other working email addresses.  "There was a communication problem while trying to connect".  That is the exact message displayed on the corrupted email address.

Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.

Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:

• Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send your message

OMG! I am in desperate need of my email. After this debacle, I'm changing my service provider. I cannot just lose my email and get no response. It's totally unacceptable.

Over social media, we are a team of experts who are committed to resolving email communication problems such as this.  Are you still experiencing this issue at this time? If so, are you experiencing this issue when using the Xfinity website or a 3rd party email client?
