"Third Party Access" Frustration

"Allow access to my Xfinity email via third party programs..."

I have checked that security check box in my email account a zillion times. I return two days later, and Xfinity has unchecked it. I have read hereabouts that there is some automated backend function that does that, supposedly for my "security", but shouldn't that command be intuitive enough to recognise when I CHOSE TO HAVE THE BOX CHECKED and leave it the hell alone? It's frustrating.

I checked the box. Leave it alone. (And please don't ask me to clear cache/cookies, or whatever the template response I've read hereabouts.)

Thank you!

That wouldn't matter, would it? Surely that setting is stored on Comcast servers, not in a user cookie. If I log in to webmail on a browser which has had its cookies, cache, and history wiped, or in Private/InPrivate/Incognito mode, all the Appsuite prefs are as I had set them.

@BruceW It shouldn't. You're correct, sir. Whatever is going on is server-side. I have accessed the settings on different browsers to check the box. It still somehow gets reversed.
