Third Party Access Security WILL NOT STAY ENABLED

Trying to set up Outlook 365 and cannot, seemingly because the third party access security box in settings will not stay enabled no matter what I do. Clearing cookies, signing out and back in, deleting the account on Outlook and re-creating etc. This is consistently an issue, Xfinity does not have a good email system and seemingly terrible back end coding that won't allow for use of actually decent email apps. Please fix.

@user_6uiiqw Hello! Thank you so much for reaching out to us on our forums for help with the third party email settings not staying enabled. I'm sorry for the trouble. I know it's important to have access to your email and without our own dedicated email app, accessing your email can take a few extra steps unless you set up third party access on a mobile device. I would love to help out and make sure that we have this corrected for you. When you toggle the option within email settings does it appear to save to allow third party access or does the option never highlight?

Hello @user_d81b8d I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with outlook and your Xfinity email settings. I have a link from our help and support site which will go over those settings. If you could take a look to see if either works for you. There's also some information and settings for pop3 as well.  https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/email-client-programs-with-xfinity-email.
