Unable to access comcast.net email in Outlook

Just like in multiple other posts I've seen in this forum (here, here, here), my Comcast.net email is no longer working with my Outlook. I have tried multiple things. I have deleted my old POP account and made a new IMAP one. I have checked that the "Allow access to my Xfinity email through 3rd party programs" checkbox is checked. Nothing seems to work. I still get the following error: "The server for account XXXXX Your username/password or security settings may be incorrect. Would you like to try re-entering your password?", regardless of providing it the correct password. I have tried both ports 993 and 995 for the imap.comcast.net server. I have changed the account password. Nothing worked, and there is no livechat or phone number for support that isn't an AI/bot mess. Please assist. I tried to attach a screenshot of the Outlook error and the settings for the IMAP account, but this was also just met with errors..

This is Microsoft Outlook for Mac, Version 16.16.27, on a 2015 iMac running macOS Monterey 12.7.6.

@user_vhz9l3 Thanks for reaching out to us about your email concerns while using outlook.
I appreciate the efforts you’ve taken to troubleshot and resolve your concerns.
With the error you're seeing with the password lets us know there's a mismatch somewhere.
Are you using an app or the Outlook website?
Are you using a saved icon or logging directly into Outlook?
Are you having any issue with access your emails when you bypass Outlook and just use Xfinity?

Hello.
- I am using the Outlook application specified in my post: Microsoft Outlook for Mac Version 16.16.27. It is an application.
- What are you referring to regarding a "saved icon"? What does that even mean?
- I have no issues logging into my comcast.net email through Xfinity on a browser. I know my password and have entered it correctly in Outlook.

Sorry for the delayed response, I can only work on this issue during weekends.

We appreciate you confirming that information for us. For troubleshooting purposes, do you know if this is occurring on more than one device?

I also have issues on my iPhone where I am able to receive emails but not send. This is iPhone 13 mini running iOS 17.6.1 and using the regular Mail client, with imap.comcast .net and smtp.comcast.net as the incoming and outgoing mail servers respectively.

However, there are no other devices or versions of outlook I own that I can use to test whether this is occuring on more than one device. I've recently set up an autoforwarding of all emails directed to Comcast to my GMail, because Comcast.net is unusable in its current format. Please advise. Again, this seems to be an issue with more than just myself based on other posts on these forums, such as the 3 links I provided in my original post.
