Unable to access email despite email showing as active

Whenever I try to access my email at https://xfinityconnect.email.comcast.net/, I am immediately redirected to the "Using and managing Xfinity Email accounts" support article (https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/account-email-information). I followed the steps at https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/email-activity-status to check my email status and it does not show the inactive status message- it just lists my email, says my Comcast email is also my username, and has a "Go to inbox" link (which, again, immediately redirects to the same support article). Attempting to access my email via an external client also fails.

You should go to https://connect.xfinity.com/appsuite to check your email.

Hi there, brooksw! Thanks for reaching out about the email box. We are happy to help! We appreciate the detailed information about the issue. Do you have a current account with us or is the email box associated with a past account? When was the last time the email box was working on your end?

Apologies for the delay. I do not have a current account, the email was associated with a family member's account which was closed years ago. I have not checked the email for some time, so my first thought was that it may have been closed for inactivity, but the fact that it does not show the inactive status message is what has me confused. If the email is still active somehow, or there is a way to recover it, I would very much like to regain access to it.

(Also, for the record, https://connect.xfinity.com/appsuite does not work either. That briefly shows a page saying "Welcome to Xfinity Email. We are now loading your email.", then redirects to https://www.xfinity.com/hub?cid=cust )

Have you logged into the email in the last 9 months? Also, did you log into your email within 90 days prior to disconnecting the service? If you were able to log into it in those time frames the email account would no longer be able to be accessed. Please check out Use Xfinity Email if you've disconnected your service.
