Unable to change my email password
I have had a comcast.net email address for about 20 years and after the hack comcast is requiring me to change my password. I am not currently a comcast customer and this email address was created as an add on for the main account. There is not recovery email address or phone number associated with this email address. So when I try to change the password, I simply get a page that says "contact the main account owner to change the password" and of course that account no longer has access to the sub accounts. So how does one add a recovery email in such a case? I can't login to the account to add the required data and the original controlling account can no longer manage the add on email addresses.

Thank you for reaching out to us @user_3fl1lr! Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name, full address, and the email address having issues with changing the password? Our team can most definitely take a further look at this issue. To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.

Did you ever get this resolved? It sounds similar to the same issue I am having.
