Unable to connect
My Comcast email works perfectly through Xfinity webmail, including sending messages. However, Apple Mail on my MacBook stopped sending, and my iPhone won't let me add the account. Both say the username or password cannot be verified. I've confirmed my password, enabled third-party access, and checked the SMTP settings. Still doesn’t work

Good morning @ddcrd,
Thank you for reaching out to us here on Xfinity Forums regarding your Comcast email not working on your iPhone and MacBook. You’ve reached the right place for assistance with your email concerns. I appreciate you providing the troubleshooting steps you’ve already taken, as this will help us better assist you with getting your Comcast email connected to Apple Mail.
I’m glad you’ve already confirmed that your Comcast email is working through Xfinity Webmail, enabled third-party access, and checked the SMTP settings.
Since you’re receiving an error stating that the username and password cannot be verified, the next step I would recommend is checking the Apple Mail settings on the devices themselves. I’ve successfully assisted many customers with reconnecting their email to Apple Mail by first removing the email account from Apple Mail and then adding it back.
Here is some helpful information on how to properly set up your Comcast email in Apple Mail, and suggestions and links that have been helpful to other customers with this type of issue.
Did you recently change your Xfinity Password? The process above should help.

Did you upgrade your Comcast Email to Yahoo? Then going to the link bellow and clicking on the third party through Yahoo Mail will help.

Please let me know if these steps and links are helpful or if you need further assistance.
