Unable to reset password on a secondary email account.

Hello,

I am a current Xfinity customer, however I still use my old email that is associated with my fathers account that is now closed. When we closed my fathers account we asked to transfer our email addresses to my new account. We were told that we did not need to do that because we would still be able to access our email even though his account was closed. Recently I tried to login to my old email and I was asked to reset my password. After entering my phone number, I received a message to please work with the primary account holder (my father) to reset your password. I can login to this account as the primary account holder, however my secondary account is not listed. This is my main email account, and suddenly losing access to it is a hugh problem. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for that update. @user_njdxwp The best course of action, in this case, would actually be to report this to our Customer Security Assurance. You can contact them calling CSA directly at Toll-Free Number: 1-888-565-4329 to assist you with the reset of the password.
