update email account notice is this spam?

I just received an email which says:  "Important Information Regarding Your comcast Digital Services."  It says i need to "Please click here to active my.xfinity.com/emaillupdate

Notice the word "active."  A clue, in my opinion, that this spam.

I checked the three email accounts we have, and I have used them very recently, so they are not inactive.

It would be nice if Xfinity staff would affirm that this is spam.

Thanks

I just checked on the internet.  This was spam.  Xfinity says that only valid Xfinity emails will have the Xfinity logo beside the email.  This so-called Xfinity notice did not have that logo.  So, spam it is.

I received an email today from Xfinity (Below). Is this legit?
  An update on your services

Continuing to enhance the Xfinity network

Bringing customers like you the ultimate internet experience is always our number one priority. We've finished the first round of enhancements to our network to enable faster upload speeds, and in the coming days, we'll be doing work in your neighborhood to continue the evolution of our next-generation Xfinity network. This will ultimately allow us to offer equally fast, multigigabit upload and download speeds and is yet another example of how our network is constantly evolving so you can have a powerful connection today and a faster, more reliable tomorrow.

We're scheduled to start work in your area on 06/21, affecting service at #### ****** Rd  While we will make our best effort to stick to that date, sometimes factors beyond our control – like weather – may cause us to shift the schedule.

How this work will affect you
You can expect service outages starting as early as 6 a.m. while our teams work to make these enhancements. They will work as quickly and efficiently as possible to limit the duration of these outages and finish work within the day. This downtime will affect all your Xfinity services, and if you are an Xfinity Voice customer, be aware that you will not be able to call 911 from your wired phone line during this time.

How to stay informed
Please take a moment to confirm your mobile number is up to date on your account. We will send automated text updates, including a reminder the day before work is scheduled to begin and when service is restored.
